Providing healthcare in communities affected by conflict and violence in northern Syria

The northern Syrian city of Kobane (Ein Al Arab), on the border with Turkey, has seen much destruction over the course of the country's ongoing war. During a 2015 attack on the city, a new MSF hospital was destroyed only days before it was scheduled to open. Jason Mills, former MSF Syria head of mission, describes our work to develop an alternative solution to providing healthcare for internally displaced Syrians and host communities in urgent need of assistance.
