Irina is staying with her four children at a centre for displaced people in Konstantinovka. Formerly a homeless shelter, the centre was under reconstruction when the conflict started in eastern Ukraine. Although still unfinished, it is now run by locals and welcomes people who had to flee the fighting in nearby areas. Eight families live there, sharing the small kitchen and old bathroom. Irina shares her story and MSF’s psychologist Elena talks about the enormous emotional impact of the violence.
